18th Century Irish occasional chair in the manner of Thomas Chippendale, the bow shaped top rail with carved acanthus leaf and bell husk flanked with scrolling acanthus and C scrolls raised over pierced splat with finely carved ribbon motif, C and S scrolls and foliate detail, the outscrolling arms with ruffles and intricately carved terminals with Irish wolfhound mask over curved supports raised over padded seat with later 19th Century embroidery above apron with gadroon moulding supported on cabriole leg with acanthus leaf  and ruffles on knee terminating on ball and claw foot,
