0830 – 18th Century Neoclassical White Marble Fireplace Mantel with Brocatelle Marble Inlay

This late 18th-century Irish Georgian fireplace surround of white statuary marble is ornamented with a carved center plaque with an urn design and, on either side, a pilaster topped by a panel decorated with a torch and sword. Inlaid with brocatelle marble on the pilasters and frieze. Originally from a residence on Merrion Square in Dublin.
