Early 19th century pair of Regency satinwood display cases. Petite in size, these elegant pieces of furniture feature astragal-glazed doors with geometric glazing bars. Below the doors each case contains three drawers, crossbanded and strung with contrasting woods. The cases stand on square tapering legs with spade feet between which sits a concave-fronted under-tier. Original brass key escutcheons throughout. The glazed upper-section can serve to display smaller decorative items or books.
