18th century pair of very fine mahogany Adam style demi-lune tables. The feathered mahogany tabletops sit on cylindrical, tapered, fluted legs terminating in turned ball feet. These elegant tables reflect the influence of the Scottish Adam brothers on 18th century design. The Adams advocated applying a unifying design concept to buildings and their interiors, and their aesthetic was greatly influenced by neoclassical style.
