18th century pair of very fine mahogany Adam style demi-lune tables. The feathered mahogany tabletops sit on cylindrical, tapered, fluted legs terminating in turned ball feet. These elegant tables reflect the influence of the Scottish Adam brothers on 18^th century design. The Adams advocated applying a unifying design concept to buildings and their interiors, and their aesthetic was greatly influenced by neoclassical style.
