19th Century marble topped gilt console table festooned with leaves, flowers, and shells. The highly scrolled feet and cabriole legs are joined by a central stretcher and joined in the centre by a decorative cartouche carved with open fretwork. The border of the top of the console is ornated with foliate designs and both corners are curved with a floral motif cantered on the curve of each leg. This sits below a serpentine shaped piece of solid marble with purple and white hues. Circa 1880.
