19th Century Regency gilt compartmental overmantel mirror. This piece is of the rectangular form and flanked on either side by classical-style columns, with carved scrolling capitals to the tops. Both columns are wrapped in foliate garland detailing. This piece features three enclosed mirror plates separated by fluted gilded slips all over a moulded base. Below the cornaced top edge the gilded frieze displays beaded chains, foliate garlands and ribbon decorations.
