18th Century George III silver Adams style neoclassical campagna shaped tea urn. Marked Dublin, Gustavus Byrne 1793. Byrne resided at 15 Cole Alley, Castle Street, Dublin. As an apprentice Byrne worked under one of Dublin’s most famous silversmiths, Charles Townsend.
