19th Century large bronze equestrian statue of the Dutch Prince William I (William the Silent) after Émilien O’Hara van Nieuwerkerke’s sculpture located at The Hague in the Netherlands. The figure is depicted wearing a square crowned hat with a feather decoration and segmented armour draped with a chivalric sash holding a mace. The horse stands on two feet giving it a lively air and is wearing a saddle, bridle, breeching, and crupper. Signed and dated to 1868 on naturalistic base. Held on a Red Griotte marble platform.
