19th Century patinated bronze sculpture of a dancing female figure, possibly a sea nymph. The figure stands on a base of seashells and repouses twirling a drape around her body. It beautifully captures the movement and delicacy of the model. Stamped with a monograph on the base, in the style of the Carrier-Belleuse studio, it is possible that this piece was produced by a French foundry.
