3225 – Irish Piper (Portrait of a man with bagpipes), signed by William Mulready (1786-1863)

Gilt-framed oil painting on board, signed “W. Mulready.” Mulready was an Irish painter who worked in London, and a member of the Royal Academy, whose work today hangs in the V&A Museum, the Tate, and Ireland’s National Gallery.
