18th Century Carved Giltwood Mirror. The crest ornamented with a carved basket of flowers, the mirror flanked by carved trailing flowers, and the apron centered with carved shells.
A very similar mirror in Birr Castle, County Offaly, is illustrated in Irish Furniture, by the Knight of Glin and James Peill, p. 260.
