19th Century French Equine Bronze inscribed on base ‘P. J. Mêne 1846’ and, to the front of the base, ‘Djinn Etalon Barbé’. Also known as ‘Cheval à la barrière’, this fine representation of a stallion is one of the sculptor’s most popular casts.
