Early 19th Century Irish gilt compartmental overmantel mirror with Ho-Ho birds. The period glass plate is divided by stylised columns and sits within a highly carved giltwood frame. The centrepiece features adjoining C scrolls with two snakes extending out to either side, and is flanked by large acanthus leaves. The shaped side feature further scrolling and foliate carving down to the lower corners with unique Ho-Ho birds at the upper corners.
