19th Century figural mantle clock in the Rocaille manner, the boulle work case of waisted design decorated with finely cast ormolu mounts to the front and sides depicting a putto bearing flowers with C and S scrolls, foliate and acanthus leaf, beading, guilloche and egg and dart motif, the circular enamelled dial with decimal and Roman chapters and gilt bronze detail surmounted by figural sculpture of a striding cupid playing the Roman tuba bearing a feather, the entire supported on outscrolling gilt ormolu foot.
