18th Century carved Chinese Chippendale revival giltwood overmantle mirror. The central panel is flanked by marginal plates, with elaborately carved scrolling and flowing acanthus leaves terminating in a floral carved top featuring stylised bell drop flowers.

Provenance: Ston Easton Park, Somerset.

Ston Easton Park is an English country house built in the 18th century. It lies near the village of Ston Easton, Somerset. Described by Pevsner as ‘exceptionally sumptuous’ in the style of William Kent. It is noted that the architect may have been Thomas Pety. It is a Grade I listed building and the grounds are listed Grade II on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.
