18th Century Adams Neoclassical fire surround of statuary marble, the stepped moulded mantle shelf flanked with breakfront corner blocks with foliate wreath motif above centre tablet with classical plaque of oval form depicting Ceres surrounded with linen swag detail flanked with frieze tablets with classical urn, beading and foliate motifs supported over pilaster with reeded detail, bell husk pendants and foliate motif, the jamb facing slip and in ground with stepped moulded detail terminating on moulded plinth block.
