Item Description

19th Century Georgian feather mahogany tallboy featuring a moulded cornice raised over a carved dentil design and an ornate acanthus leaf decoration to the frieze. The top segment is flanked by fluted canted corners. Fitted with five drawers to top and three drawers to base boasting original shaped brass handles, as well as a pull-out writing slide. Supported on ogee bracket feet.  c. 1820.
