Item Description18th Century George III carved mahogany Gainsborough armchair with a gently curved upholstered back and carved, shaped arms, complete with scrolled handles and leaf-carved moldings to the supports and apron. The square seat is raised on four cabriole legs which terminate on lion paw feet. The front pair are headed by finely carved lion mask decorations and additional floral designs. Circa 1760.
