Early 19th Century library table in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster and London, the moulded top with four tower corners, reeded edge and tricompartmental gold embossed leather writing surface with hinged middle section opening to reveal fitted compartment raised over ebonized line inlaid frieze with three short drawers, the central a dummy drawer, all with brass flowerhead motif ring pulls flanked with fluted tower columns supported on turned tapering leg.
