Late 18th Century Pair of Pickle Jars. Probably Dublin or Cork made. This type of pickle jar or pickle glass was often very similar in design to celery glasses of the same period, however pickle jars always had a lid. These fine examples display the typical alternate prism, pillar flute and large hollow facet cutting. Typical of a pickle jar of this period it stands firm on a square pressed base.
