Early 19th Century Neoclassical pair of bronze models of the ‘Warwick Vase’, the models of two handled urn form with moulded and folded rim with beading and egg and dart motif raised over band of foliate detail and central frieze of bacchic ornament depicting figural masque’s terminating on fluted spreading base.

The Warwick Vase was found in Hadrian’s Villa at Tivoli, Italy, the restoration in the 18th Century was likely carried out by Giovanni Battista Piranesi and the sculptor Bartolomeo Cavaceppi.  It is now exhibited in the Burrell Collection in Scotland.
