Early 19th Century set of eight (six plus two) Hepplewhite mahogany dining chairs.  The shield shaped backs carved with Prince of Wales feathers, the upholstered seats on tapered legs with spade feet.  These chairs relate to the designs by Hepplewhite published in “The Cabinet Maker’s and Upholstered Guide 1788” plates 1 and 21.
